Triathlon

I received this email a couple weeks ago:

A son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?" The father, who despite having a heart condition, says "Yes". They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying "Yes" to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together." To which, his father said "Yes". For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile marathon along the coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.

Father and son went on to complete the race together. Take a look....

Any thoughts??

What a powerful video and message! The love that father has for his son is amazing. Just think how much more our Heavenly Father loves us.

What words can I leave to describe the emotions I feel right now? The video certainly wasn't what I expected when I started watching it - I figured the roles would be reversed. What a striking and powerful way to get a message across of our Father's undying love for each and every one of us!

This video and music was extremely powerful. We get beat down by the stresses of daily survival. This is an encouragement to all of us to reach higher and try harder to do what God has called us to do. How am I letting the light of God's hope shine in MY life today? I am challenged by this video not to give up. I am encouraged to look deep to find something within myself that will reflect Gods love.
I am inspired that no matter what seems to be in my way, I will look to God for the hope and strenth to live out his will in my life. This video and music has touched me deeply
